ICT-Emissions workshop “Quantifying the Effect of ITS on City Emissions”, 26 November 2014 in Madrid, Spain

31/10/2014 – The upcoming ICT-Emissions workshop on “Quantifying the Effect of ITS on City Emissions” will present an integrated approach to tackling air pollutants and CO2 emissions from road transport through the implementation of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS). The approach uses commercial traffic and emissions models and connects modelling at the micro (car-passenger level) and the macro (city level) scales.

ICT-Emissions “Development of a methodology and tool to evaluate the impact of ICT measures on road transport emissions” is a project funded by the European Commission, 7th Framework Programme-ICT under Grant Agreement No. 288568.

The project started on 1st October 2011 and ended on 31 March 2015.
